Review & sign workflow
There is now a whole workflow process for how pages are reviewed and signed. Teams can choose between a simple sign-off or a detailed approval process that ensures strict compliance.
- Basic workflow: In this mode, the page author simply closes and signs the page directly. This works perfectly for routine tasks, like recording standard cell culture maintenance or quick observations, where speed matters more than formal validation.
- Advanced workflow: This option introduces a complete review and sign chain:
- The author closes the page.
- Up to 3 reviewers receive a “Page awaiting review” notification. They can approve or reopen the page.
- If all reviewers approve, up to 3 signers receive an “Awaiting to sign” notification.
- If one reviewer rejects, the page is reopened for corrections.
- The final sequence is author, reviewers, then signers.
- In a GLP or GMP regulated environment, an experiment on stability testing could first be reviewed by a senior scientist, then a QA officer, and finally signed by a project manager. This ensures traceability and compliance.
Signature certificates with more details
Every signature now comes with extra clarity. You can add the name, title, and role to display next to the signature. You can also search for them by these details.
Let’s say an auditor asks, “Who signed off as QA on these assays last month?”, you can quickly pull up every relevant record instead of scrolling through endless pages.
AI Tools

Spreadsheets (both flat and Zoho) are now tracked in page history. Every change is logged and retrievable.
If a junior scientist accidentally modifies a reagent concentration in a shared spreadsheet, you can check the history, restore the correct version, and maintain accountability.
Page review and sign permissions
Page templates can now define who is allowed to review or sign pages created from them.
In a clinical study template, you can restrict signing rights to the PI or QA manager only, ensuring only authorized personnel can validate critical pages.
Duplicate as main page or subpage
You can now duplicate any page as either a new main page or a subpage.
When running repetitive assays like ELISA, you can duplicate the protocol page as a new subpage for each batch, keeping everything linked and organized.
Template preview
When creating a new page, you can preview the template before applying it.

Diagram designer improvements
The diagram designer now offers a preview even when blocks are closed, and you can export diagrams as images.
When building a workflow diagram for a complex purification process, you can export it as an image and embed it into a report or presentation without extra software.
